Study support - how we can help


On these pages you can find out about the study support that is available in your local library. You can get help with your homework or revision from trained helpers, use the internet for your research and find out what else is going on in the library.

H-Clubs - homework made easy

H-Club offers free drop in sessions for children aged between 9 and 16. Trained helpers are there to help, and you can use the internet or borrow books for your research. To find out more, please go to the H-Club page.

Information for parents

  • feel free to talk to the H-Club staff at any time - you will recognise them by their distinctive blue t-shirts
  • let us know if your child needs extra support with specific subjects, or if they have special needs. All staff are trained and will be happy to help
  • keep us updated if your child has an on-going medical condition or inform us of anything else that you think might be useful
  • we occasionally organise special events that may include food and drink - please let us know if your child has any food allergies
  • please remember that H-Club sessions finish at 5pm. If you are going to be late picking up your child, please telephone the library.
